"bookstore she had heard about (she was scrolling insta). Located on Main Street in Boonton, this shop is absolutely adorable. It gives off a charming old-school vibe, even though it only opened in 2024. It’s owned and operated by a professional librarian Brianna. We chatted for a bit — she’s pregnant, and we recently had a baby, so we instantly found something in common to talk about. The store has hundreds of secondhand books, all in pristine condition, neatly lining the shelves. There are sections for kids, history, series, and many more genres. We picked up a few books for our little one. Got to sow the seeds early, right? Just kidding — we read her these stories, and we’re trying our best. Let’s see how it goes! At the back of the shop, there’s an adorable reading area that adds to the cozy charm. Note: The bookstore is only open from Friday to Sunday, so plan your visit accordingly"

"I happened to stop by while grabbing coffee in the area, and I’m so glad I did! This bookstore is such a gem. Even though I live about 35 minutes away, I will definitely be making the trip back. The store itself is beautiful, and everything is so well-kept. The books are in excellent condition, and the prices are unbelievably reasonable, especially considering they are all used! I just loved browsing through the wonderful selection and soaking in the cozy atmosphere. The owner was so sweet, and that made the experience even more special. This visit truly made my day, and I can’t wait to return. I will definitely be bringing some friends with me next time!"

"Such a great little bookstore… but don’t let its size fool you ! The selection and quality of books is excellent. You will definitely find something here. The pictures and aesthetics are so perfect - I loved seeing pages from some of my favorite books as a child hanging on the walls. The owner is really nice! Thankful I stopped by this weekend. Only weekend hours- so check times before you come. Worth the trip."

"What a great addition to Main Street! We stopped in over the weekend and I was amazed at how quaint but well stocked and laid out this store is. I'd been in the store that previously occupied this space and couldn't wrap my mind around how a bookshop could possibly fit but I was so wrong. What a great little store! The owner was so helpful in finding my next read. Prices are great, most of the books look brand new and the kids section in the back is adorable - so many good finds. So happy to support a local (woman owned!) bookshop. Make a day of it and take a stroll up Main Street, there's so many wonderful small businesses to visit and I'm so glad Gingerbread calls it home now, too!"
